I started training with him over six months ago with a general aim of improving my fitness and strength. After injuring my knees during yoga, I decided to find an alternative form of exercise. I was completely new to weight training and wasn't sure I would enjoy it, but Richard was friendly and accommodating during the consultation, which gave me the confidence to try it. My main goal was to get stronger, but as a positive side effect, I have built muscles and feel much happier and healthier. Richard has also helped me rehabilitate my knees. He adapted the training program to avoid exercises that aggravated the pain and included exercises to gradually strengthen surrounding muscles and connective tissue. My knees feel almost fully recovered now! Richard regularly asks me about my goals and preferences and adapts the program to accommodate them. He's also really fun and a pleasure to work with!
